February 24, 2020 “Information Clearing House” — In another astounding revelation about the extent of United States’ global surveillance operations, The Washington Post recently published a piece about a Swiss company, Crypto AG, that was actually owned by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and West Germany’s intelligence agency. Crypto AG provided encryption services to over a hundred governments worldwide for decades. Unbeknownst to those governments, the CIA had access to the encryption tools and could therefore read high-level internal governmental correspondence from countries including France, Egypt, Venezuela and many others.

by Whitney Webb Last week’s appointment of U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell to the post of Director of National Intelligence (DNI) received criticism from both sides of the political divide, mainly for his lack of experience and history of outspoken and partisan political statements. Much more overlooked, however, are Grenell’s ties to the powerful American pro-Israel lobby and Israeli politicians alike, including organizations and individuals with a history of espionage and blackmail against the United States.

Ankara’s statements about an imminent military operation in Syria and the Turkish authorities’ request for Washington to supply them with U.S.-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems are just Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan‘s manoeuvres to leverage against Russia that his country may be returning to the NATO camp.
With Turkey supporting and backing jihadists against the Syrian Army in Idlib, the situation in Syria is becoming increasingly hostile as Erdoğan has threatened to directly go to war at the end of the month if Syria does not reverse the gains it made in previous weeks. There is a certain danger for war that could drag Russia as it is the main backer of the Syrian Army. Turkey has not shied away that it is increasingly getting frustrated with Moscow as it has unrelentingly backed its Syrian allies against Turkish-backed forces. ➜⇢ ➽ ➤ Iraqi Sunnis Are Preparing for Battle With the Great Satan Baghdad (GPA) — In a recent interview with channel Alahad TV, the leader of Asaib Ahl al-Haq Sheikh Khazali stated that people in the Sunni provinces of Nineveh, Anbar and Salah ad-Din have now expressed a wish to join the resistance operations against the occupying American troops.
It is well known that the Sunni — Shia partnership inside Iraq has recently made major inroads into the construction of a productive cooperation experience. This level of cooperation has gone on to produce results such as the unification of Islamic solidarity groups which have appeared in battles with ISIS and blocking the ambitions of Kurdish separatism.
Now though, it’s the time for joint actions against foreign invaders, primarily those US forces that now refuse to leave Iraq. Sunni supporters of the Islamic resistance are divided into several categories including (but not limited to) the basis of tribalism, cooperation with Sunni religious body, the establishment of local councils (such as the Anbar Liberation council) and integration in Shia fractions of Islamic resistance. The Wahhabi kingdom and its coalition partners have recently suffered a series of defeats in Yemen.
